This newest Jaguar has more headroom and more legroom than the previous 2-seater models, a fully upholstered rear seat for 2 more passengers, easier entry through a wider door, and the choice of an optional automatic transmission in place of the standard 4-speed fully synchromesh gearbox. It’s a dual purpose car, built to accommodate 4 passengers, or to be used as a 2-seater with sedan-like proportions for luggage.
With the rear seatback moved forward, there is almost 4'h feet of cargo length.
And though it's 9 inches longer overall, the award-winning style remains the same.
The sturdy 4.2 litre, dual overhead camshaft XK engine powers each of the E-type models.
