Paden City 555 Mr. B Vermilion Heart Shaped Candy Dish Lid Only Utopia Etch HTF
This item was made by Paden City, most likely around the 1930's. The Utopia etch is somewhat hard to find. It is similar to the Gazebo etch. The Utopia etch is an expanded version of the Gazebo etch for use on larger pieces. If you are missing the lid to your candy box this is a great find to complete your set. The bottom of the candy dish is divided into 3 parts and is usually not etched so a bottom dish should be somewhat easier to find if you don't already own one. The lid is in very good condition with just a few minor nicks around the rim where the cover will sit on your bottom box. The lid is about 8 1/2" X 7 1/4" at the widest points, including the fan at the top of heart.
I rarely describe vintage china & glassware as perfect since it will acquire some use marks even from sitting on a shelf for most of its life. Vintage china & glassware may also have small bubbles, mold seams and marks that are inherent in the making of the item. I try to describe any issues that I consider more than average or minimal wear and certainly will point out any damage that I find. If nothing is noted it means the item does not have any damage, but it may have very minor use wear and the normal manufacturing conditions.

Your shipping cost is shown in the auction listing before you bid and is based on the shipping rates from my home to yours as computed by the eBay shipping calculator.  All of my items are unique. I weigh each item and then add one or two pounds for the estimated weight of the box and packing material. The shipping calculator is usually very close
to the actual amount of the shipping.
