Description
US NAVY NAVAL ACADEMY Bronze Doorstops / Bookends, a Pair w. Coat-Of-Arms - Poseidon's Fork, Ship in Full Sails, Eagle & AnchorFor your consideration is an impressive pair of maritime themed HEAVY bronzes
Cast from solid bronze with beautifully embossed Coats-of-arms in the middle
All the symbols from the logo of the US NAVAL ACADEMY are present - a ship, an anchor, Poseidon's fork and above all - a majestic eagle with spread wings.
Although very decorative these statues were serving a purpose. We believe them to be door stops, due to their size and substantial weight, but will do perfectly for bookends as well
A matching pair, just the backs are slightly different: one is flat while the other is slightly concave, therefore one is heavier then the other
